Heavy Duty Connector

Heavy Duty Connector The AC/DC charger can be located on the outside of the vehicle or embedded in the interior of the vehicle. The charger is connected to the battery management system. This system ensures that the battery cells are charged correctly until the high voltage (HV) requirements are met. The HV battery is essential for driving the traction motor during operation. It also supplies the other electronic modules of the vehicle with 12 V via a converter. Depending on the charging mode (slow, medium or fast) and technology (wired or wireless)

Electric vehicles Heavy Duty Connector are becoming increasingly popular worldwide, and EV charging has evolved differently for different regions and use cases. This brings a high degree of complexity – and a large number of part numbers – to OEMs around the world. But there are three generally accepted descriptors for electric vehicle power supply equipment (EVSE), including EV chargers: mode, class and type

Basic Info.
Origin:China
HS Code:8504409992
Production Capacity:50000PCS/YearHeavy Duty Connector Mode 1 plugs into a household AC outlet, but is typically not allowed in most areas because Mode 1 lacks special safety electronics.
Heavy Duty Connector Mode 2 also plugs into a standard household AC outlet and includes these safety features in its cable control box (ICCB).
Heavy Duty Connector Mode 3 plugs into a wall box or charging station for AC charging. It does not include an ICCB, and in Europe, consumers typically need to bring their own Mode 3 cable to use a public AC charging station.
Mode 4 is reserved for high-speed DC charging at charging stations.

Heavy Duty Connector Class 1 is limited to 120V and 1.8 kW and provides basic charging.
Heavy Duty Connector Class 2 is defined as 208V to 240V, up to 80A, with a maximum output power of 19.2 kW. As OEMs increase battery size, they are increasing power levels in this range. Today, a typical BEV can draw 11 kW of AC power from its on-board charger. A home with a 3-phase power supply can achieve 11 kW at 16A, while a single-phase power supply needs to deliver about 48A.
DC Level 1 and Level 2 provide fast charging and are only available at commercial stations. DCLevel 2, often referred to simply as “Level 3,” can provide up to 1,000 VDC and is expected to reach 500A in the future with an output of over 350 kW.
